Professor Guillaume Delaittre
Guillaume Delaittre obtained his PhD degree in 2008 under Prof. B. Charleux (Paris, France) for his founding work on polymerization-induced self-assembly (PISA). After postdoctoral stays with Profs. R.J.M Nolte and J.J.L.M. Cornelissen at the Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands) and with Profs. C. Barner-Kowollik and M. Bastmeyer at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany), he started his independent research in 2013 supported by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). He is Professor for Macromolecular Chemistry and Plastics Technology at the University of Applied Sciences Aachen (Germany) since September 2019. Until now, his research interests have revolved around macromolecular chemistry, photochemistry, nanostructures, (surface) biofunctionalization, and biocatalysis. Most recent work particularly focuses on reactive block copolymers and related nanostructures, single-enzyme nanogels, functional polyoxazolines, and PISA.
