Professor Tanja Junkers
Monash University
Prof. Tanja Junkers graduated from Göttingen University with a PhD in physical chemistry. After stations at the University of New South Wales, Sydney and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany she was appointed at Hasselt University, Belgium, in 2010 where she founded the Polymer Reaction Design group. Early 2018 she moved her labs to the School of Chemistry at Monash University, Melbourne. Her research interests are the use of continuous flow chemistry approaches, light-induced chemistries, autonomous reactors, precision polymer synthesis, and investigations on kinetics and mechanisms of radical reactions.
